Now that we have completed the energy saving system, we are ready to release our flexyPage version 1.0 after 12 pre versions. Beside that, we have spent much effort on improving sensor data visualisation, simplified handling of configuration activity and extension of video replaying, which will be included in the newest software update.

How to save energy with flexyPage
After the release of the VDI 4707 in March 2009 the energy requirements of lifts came into focus of component producers and lift manufacturers. Since the release of the ISO 25745 standard the topic also reached international importance. Nevertheless, there are still many lifts that consume too much energy unnecessarily.
With flexyPage displays low energy consumption was in focus already during the development process. The new software update to version 1.0 of the flexyPage software integrates functions for the detection of passive states and automatic shutdown of the display to reduce the energy consumption independently from the lift controller.
