Did you know…

that not talking to colleagues in a lift is not considered rude?

Yes, there are probably a few who find the quietness during a lift ride very uncomfortable and who are glad when the embarrassing silence is finally ended with the long looked-for exit. However, not speaking to work colleagues in a lift is not even considered rude - to start small talk with colleagues in a lift is even proclaimed a bad idea according to the etiquette manual. In such a situation, a lift display not only becomes a welcome diversion to bypass the short lift ride with the work colleague nonchalantly, it also fulfils the desire for flexibility and modern technology to the fullest extent in a working environment that is shifting from the classic office to Smart Office, Open Office and Coworking Spaces.

Moving? No problem - floor information can flexibly be configured via the Internet

The development of so-called Coworking Spaces is currently booming. 2017 is expected to reach the million mark with 1,180,000 users. The principle behind this: flexible workrooms are shared with many different people and are flexibly leased for a certain period of time. The need for flexibility is therefore particularly high thanks to frequently changing companies. flexyPage lift displays offer efficient solutions for precisely such challenges: floor names and associated company logos can be exchanged quickly and easily via the Internet with the web editor - whether it be smartphone, tablet or PC.

More than just a means of transport: In office buildings the lift is the business card

The access to a building is the first and the last moment of contact - so an effective, lasting impression is decisive for customers and visitors. Especially in the context of modernisation measures in office buildings, high-resolution TFT displays in lifts are excellently suited to increase the attractiveness and highlight the special character of a building. The corporate identity of the company can also be conveyed by individual design possibilities of the display design in the lift. Diverse installation variants use the available space in the lift in an intelligent way.

Increased comfort and safety through lift displays in office buildings

With the use of lift displays in office buildings, employees and customers receive a variety of useful, up-to-the-minute information in a very short time. Presented in a modern design and with additional functions such as touch or PINpad, it creates additional comfort for the employees during the work day. Besides the usual lift information, such as the direction of travel and the floor names, additional information such as the lift car load and speed, the weather, date and time, or associated company logos for individual floors can be displayed on the display. Via the widget Diashow[basic], breakfast offers of nearby bakeries or cafés can be displayed, or the daily menu of the company can be shown at or outside of peak hours.

Displays that are equipped with a touch functionality allow limited access to certain floors. Thus, selected floors in the office building can only be made accessible to certain persons via a code input or can be disabled by the timer function, starting at a specific time. In this way, lift displays not only create an increased comfort, but also provide additional security in the building.
