Did you know,

that the world's fastest lift car has pressure equalization to prevent ear damage?

The 505 meter high skyscraper is claimed to have the fastest elevator in the world. It is rising at more than 55 feet per second, which makes approximately 35 miles an hour. It takes only 39 seconds to the tower’s observation deck on the 89th floor. This speed requires specific measures. According to the The New Yorker the Taipei 101 Tower, which was named after its number of floor levels, has lift cabins for which a pressure equalization is created, to prevent ear damage. More, the ever-changing position indication has to run fluently. Thanks to flexyPage’s modern connection to the bus system, this is can be done without any problems
